Launching in 2018!
Juniors and Women’s Masters
In an effort to grow the sport of cycling in areas where we feel growth is most needed, we’re launching the Extra Mile Racing Cycling Team. SIGN UP!
While focused primarily on juniors (16-under) and masters women (35-above), Team EMR is open to racers of all ages and abilities. Team membership (not to be confused with our club membership) is made in four simple steps.
- Purchase an annual license with USA Cycling.
- Complete the Extra Mile Racing cycling team membership application and pay $25.
- Purchase an Extra Mile Racing team kit. Order coming in December-January, delivery in March.
- Race for free* throughout 2018.
Yep, we’ll pay your entry fees for all USAC sanctioned races. Road, mountain, cyclocross – whatever. We just want to see you racing on your bike.
As the team fills out, we’ll communicate with the team and plan at least one out-of-state stage race or cycling festival during the 2018 season. We’ll travel as a team, race as a team and have some fun as a team.
The team will focus on getting new and developing racers to events that are best suited for their abilities. Extra Mile Racing team members will receive registration to all Extra Mile Racing cycling events and have their race fees reimbursed* for any other USAC Sanctioned events. All we ask is that you wear your Extra Mile Racing kit at events and provide one volunteer at an event sometime during our race season.
After joining the race team, we’ll send you a team t-shirt and hat. Team kits and other gear items will be available for order around Christmas time and will be delivered in March.
At the end of the cyclocross season, we’ll have a big party and feed everyone lots of food so you can be fat and happy heading into the off season.
